Modeling for Complex Modular Power Electronic Transformers Using Parallel Computing

چکیده
The modular power electronic transformer (PET) faces difficulty carrying out microsecond-level electromagnetic transient simulations. This article provides a high-speed and high-precision simulation method capable of eliminating the internal nodes reducing order nodal admittance matrix. Meanwhile, parallel computing is integrated into whole solution process, which achieves significant speedup. A physical prototype established to prove that detailed model (DM) sufficient reflect dynamics devices. Moreover, simulations in PSCAD/EMTDC are carried compare proposed with DM terms accuracy time efficiency. Simulation results show accurate simulate external PET hundreds times speed acceleration.
